Columbia Commercial Real Estate was founded on a straightforward observation: the commercial real estate industry had a structural problem.
The global institutions that dominate the market had grown too large, too siloed, and too conflicted to serve clients well. Senior partners sold engagements, but junior associates executed them. Corporate overhead inflated fees without adding value. Internal divisions competed with each other instead of collaborating for clients. And when things went wrong, responsibility was diffused across so many teams that no one truly owned the outcome.
We saw an opportunity to build something different.
What emerged is a new model for commercial real estate services: institutional capability delivered with entrepreneurial accountability. A platform where every engagement is led by a principal with decision-making authority. Where our interests are aligned with yours by design.
